Mr. Harry Milne has over 20 years of investment experience in real estate, fixed income and equities. He began his 13 years on Wall Street at Drexel Burnham in 1986, where he ran a group which was responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and provided research for proprietary trading. While Managing Director at ING/Furman Selz, he focused on real estate securities trading and raising debt and equity for real estate.
For the next 5 years, from 1999 to 2003, he advised institutional clients on real estate strategies and financing. Clients included several large corporate clients like GE Capital, and successful family developers. The largest advisory included $2 billion of properties in 10 countries.
Mr. Harry was a co-founder of JKMAM asset management in Pittsburgh. He was senior portfolio manager and strategist for over $300 million of securities that targeted total return against S&P and Lehman indexes. Macro views and superior securities selection created top percentile performance versus peers, and double the index return.
In 2007, Mr. Harry joined Strategia as Managing Director of the U.S. office in Burlingame, California. He manages several SPV investment vehicles and managed accounts which were structured to invest in RE and technology private equity. For example: investment targeting Office buildings in NY and Boston returned 47% IRR; investment for Residential Development has returned 27% IRR and is still outstanding. In addition, he helps managing two funds of Strategia Funds. The World Liquid Real Estate Fund returned +10% in excess of the Global RE index for 2008.
The U.S. office was moved to Westport, CT to provide better access to investments, research and opportunities for clients.
